How it works?
LUCAS has two working modes:
- DRIVE MODE
it will monitor in real time the current driving conditions to help the driver correct poor behavior conditions. Is active when the vehicle is moving and as long as Engine is ON.
- TRIP SUMMARY MODE
Shows a trip summary for each indicator of the last trip or the average of the last 10 trips. Will show the average of the last 10 trips on the FMS interface boot and engine ON.
LUCAS has 4 status of the indicators showing in 3 colors
Making good use of the available retarder systems will minimize wear of the service brake linings.
The weighed factors in anticipation are measured, rewarding costing and warning about harsh braking and idle time.
Good and efficient driving is rewarded with a green LED.
The right use of the various speed control systems will contribute to higher fuel efficiency. The actual use of Cruise Control, Cruisable time and harsh Acceleration are monitored.
